About
I remember my first experience of yoga back in 2002, from a DVD featuring Rodney Yee. I tried to imitate Yee’s perfect postures and serene composure but all my muscles tingled, my breath was choppy and irregular and at the end I was in tears. Yet I was also euphoric and somehow transformed. I knew I had discovered something very powerful and I was eager to learn more.
I attended several trainings and began teaching in 2005. Having been a fitness instructor in the 90s at first I was attracted to intense physical practices such as Ashtanga and Power Yoga. Over time my approach softened as I learned the value of meditation and deep relaxation. My teaching now is a blend of all that I have learned from different sources over the years. I feel that there is no end to learning and I keep studying and exploring as much as I can in order to be of service to my students.
My other passion is hiking – you will often see me out in the area with my two rescue dogs. Nature is the best healer and I need my daily dose!
I look forward to welcoming you to my class.

I started my incredible Yoga journey at the YogaMovesNyon Studio, it’s been more than 10 years now. Initially looking for something softer after a knee injury, I felt in love with Yoga and the variety of styles that allow me to work my body and my mind in different and complementary ways.
